Becoming a director of my first business in 2017 and launching my online agency less than a year later means I have over 5 years of experience of hiring (and firing!) support in the online space. I've also worked behind the scenes as a consultant, service provider and Business Manager for multiple 6- and 7-figure businesses, seeing what creates the conditions for a team to thrive from both sides of the table.
I always hired way before I was ready. Coming from a corporate background of sales, business development and project management - I knew my time was better spent planning, creating, selling and serving clients rather than spinning my wheels doing tasks that someone else could do for less. (Oh and when I say "for less", I mean for less than what I was valuing my own time. A key concept for you to get onboard with when you start hiring support!).
